As most of people know now, The Pirate Bay, sueden website of Peer to peer tracing torent files,  is making a campaign to raise found to buy a micronation island name Sealand (11 km from England). And by this way escape from any international law on copyright.

Direct link : Yippie for peer to peer, it would be easier then never to find anything we are looking for, and maybe a good kick to majors ;-)

Possible consequences : If the firms cannot attack people puting online such files anymore, won't they start taxing fees for people downloading ? In certain countries, like France, it's already done, but they don't look to hard to punish downloaders, i think  if they  would start a real hunt to scare everybody and  maybe  really kill the peer to peer.

In conclusion : I think, ideologically this too good, whatever the consequences, i hope they will succeed, cause it could change something.

Utopia : I even thought that maybe, if they succeed, it could give ideas, to associations, political groups, or any parallel form of sociability to try new models of life, even more freely than autarky... Ah sweet dream...
